Wow...Was I impressed with the crowd, organization, and overall feel of this year's Everglades Seafood Festival. While the weather isn't cooperating for the final day, Saturday was glorious, and I have to hand it to the Florida Stone Crabber's Association for putting together such a fabulous, and organized event. Nice job by Charlie Pace's Mom, Donna Pace, in putting the entertainment together...and I DID see the "Skunk Ape"
Next US 41 event is our 1st Birthday Party at The Lucky Screw in downtown Fort Myers, Friday March 4th....We begin with a live broadcast at 6:30 w/ free birthday T-Shirts for the first 50 people thru the door.... Model Citisin takes the stage at 9...And what's a birthday party without cake...
And in March...BIG festivals on the 5th & 12th. Mardi Gras Festival on March 5th at Centennial Park with a great line-up of music including Rocker, Mean Gene & the Fklamethrowers, Collaboration Band, Charlie Pace, (I understand Susie Hulcher is playing Bass at this show!!) and Mudbone 4.0. Mudbone, quite simply, features some of the best players in our area including Ricky Howard, Mario Infanti, Darrell Nutt, Gerald Augustin, Luis Brito and Norberto "Chickie" Diaz. This is one of those DON'T MISS shows...
Then on March 12th, we're back at German/American Club in Cape Coral for another Taco Fest. We'll feed ya, and rock ya with Deb & The Dynamics, The Dead Ataris, and one more band TBA...Tickets for both shows are available at BSCEVENT.COM
We're getting a lot of superstar music releases, which is never a band thing, but when you have great songs to play by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele, and Eddie Vedder, everyone benefits...These releases are reflected in our Top 5, which for the first time in our history doesn't contain a single LOCAL artist....
Have a great week, and thank you for your continued support!!
